# How To Make It:
- Bring water to just below boiling at approximately 195°F.
- Place hojicha tea leaves or tea bag in a teapot or infuser. Pour the hot water over the tea and allow it to steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Strain the leaves or remove the tea bag.
- Steam the milk until hot and frothy using a milk steamer. Alternatively, heat the milk gently in a saucepan on the stovetop and whisk vigorously until frothy.
- Pour the brewed hojicha tea into a heatproof cup, filling approximately halfway.
- Pour the steamed milk into the cup in equal proportion, holding back the foam with a spoon. Spoon the milk froth on top of the beverage if desired.
- Serve the hojicha cortado immediately while hot.
